In my poster paying tribute to Margaret Hamilton, I blended traditional drawing techniques with digital elements to delve into the intricacies of her pivotal role in Apollo 11's success. Using both hand-drawn and digital methods allowed me to craft a rich, layered design.

To add depth, I incorporated scanned images of actual pages from her groundbreaking error code, seamlessly integrating them as textures in the background. The central image features Hamilton, symbolically ascending a ladder, placing a flag atop a stack of her code-filled books. This imagery encapsulates the moment her error message saved Apollo 11's lunar landing.

Beyond celebrating Hamilton's inspirational journey as a trailblazing woman, the composition underscores her as part of a larger narrative of women propelling society forward. The deliberate choice of portraying Hamilton cut off at the ladder's top signals an invitation for others to follow suit. The poster aims to convey not only Hamilton's individual triumph but also the collective progress made by women, emphasizing the ongoing opportunity for others to climb the metaphorical ladder of achievement.
